My Grandad
My Grandad was full of life and full of love,
but thats not all he knew.
He searched the world for highs and lows,
and even when his hairs got old.
He reached his levels in every course,
and its almost like he won the most.
He taught us all about the steps that we must face,
along the way through his patience and grace.
He gave us all a smile everyday
and it was just to say that he was ok.
He gave us the strength to carry on,
and that is why we are here today to say
one final goodbye to: a father, a son, a teacher and a friend,
but of course a GRANDAD...

Dear Grandad
You meant the world to me and every Tuesday we came to see you and have tea . You had the biggest smile on your face when we arrived. You would put the Egghead show on TV and the Real Hustle and tell us all about them. When you flicked through the channels and you saw Deal or No Deal you would tell us what rubbish it was and why you didn't like it. You made us all laugh every time we were with you and you used to talk about your week. When you came back from holiday you would tell us EVERYTHING about it and show us ALL the photographs and videos.
You were a great achiever and gave 100% in everything you did. You were super intelligent and you could write great poems on the spot.
Tango was your main hobby while I knew you and you showed us at least one clip of a tango class every week, and you had photos everywhere. Your would talk about your friends and people who you had taught to become amazing dancers and teachers of tango.
Another hobby you had before dancing was archery, which you still have British records that no one has broken.
You were also a keen photographer with all your cameras and video cameras. You have bought us many cameras and videos, dvd and tv sets over the years.
I know I owe my interest in photography to you grandad and I am going to more of it.
You were also an excellent artist you could draw anything you wanted, even your rough drawings are good, which mum and Eleanor have got from you.
Grandad I love you so much and everyone here today loves you too. You lived a fulfilling life and touched alot of people lives. You have done all the things you loved.
I just want to say THANK YOU for being an amazing Grandad, I know you will always be with me and I love you so much.
